During the tour you may be exposed to severe terrain, wind, waves and tidal conditions.
You may experience cultural and climate conditions different than the ones you are used to.
Therefore, all activities are not completely free of risk for people who suffer from high blood pressure, asthma and heart or nervous disorders.
By booking and joining our trips you declare that you are aware of the risks that this activity involves. And you commit to always follow the safety instructions from the staff of Kayak Adventures and official local authorities.
When you click here “Agree” or on “Place order”, you´ll confirm that you, and the participants you are booking for, all have basic knowledge of swimming and that you all will wear your life vest(s) at all times whilst in the kayak or in the water.
– a full refund will take place if you cancel at least 7 days before the date of departure.
– a 50% refund will take place if you cancel at least 3 days (72 hours) before the time of departure.
– there will be NO refund in case you cancel on the 72 hours prior to the time of departure.
– Refunds will not be issued if you miss the trip due to late or non-arrival; please check in latest 15 minutes before departure time.
In case of severe bad weather, we´ll postpone the trip. In the case that we suggest postponing and that you would prefer to cancel, or in the case that we will cancel, we will refund your paid money in full to you.
*** Both the refund and the bad weather policies are based on our strict ´No Hassle` attitude. There is no need for you to give us a reason for cancelling or for not accepting our postponed trip in case of bad weather. The refunds will be issued within 24 hours and without any cost for you ***
Side effects of the Kayak Trip may include extreme excitement and a sense of accomplishment. The beautiful rock formations of Ponta da Piedade may create a high WOW factor. Paddling through the caves may cause high levels of adrenaline.
